ELMA Capital provides short-term bridge facilities to independent films pending drawdown of their permanent project finance from contracted financing sources.
Bridge finance is available to meet the critical day-to-day needs of pre-production and early principal photography of a film including, as necessary, talent deposits, outstanding chain of title payments and the cost of foreign exchange hedging instruments.
Over the last four years the principals of ELMA have arranged and funded counterparties in the UK, USA and Europe with a total of 17 bridging loans to projects with aggregate budget values exceeding US$200m.
